Favorite Book

When I think about reading in elementary school, Judy Blume is the author that comes to mind. While we didn’t have a lot of money, my mom would always buy me a book at the school book fair and I picked out a Judy Blume book multiple years in a row. I think I read Are You There God, It’s Me Margaret about 10 times!  Her characters were my age or a little bit older and struggling to make sense of a variety of problems which drew me into the stories.  To this day, I still like to read books that are character driven more than any other type.
